The goal of this course was to provide an introduction to effective teaching. This course provided background information through exploring theories, literature, and common practice in teaching. The efficacy of various approaches was discussed in depth, in addition to current, emerging methods.

Practical teaching opportunities were utilized to allow students to develop and refine effective educational techniques, and feedback was given to allow for constructive growth as an instructor.
